Data Storage

We use third-party vendors and hosting partners for hardware, software, networking, storage, and related technology we need to run our services. Tracking & Cookies

You may also request that we update Personally Identifiable Information about you, or request correction of any factual errors that you believe may exist regarding this information. Data Security

To prevent unauthorized access, and maintain data accuracy and the correct use of information, we have put in place appropriate procedures to safeguard and secure the information we collect online. While we cannot guarantee that loss, misuse or alteration to data will not occur, we try to prevent such unfortunate occurrences.

  • We only provide articles and information. We never ask for credit card numbers.
  • We do not use vulnerability scanning and/or scanning to PCI standards.
  • We use regular malware scanning.

In addition, all sensitive information you supply is encrypted via Secure Socket Layer (SSL) technology.

All transactions are processed through a gateway provider and are not stored or processed on our servers.

In order to be in line with Fair Information Practices we will take the following responsive action, should a data breach occur: we will notify you via email within 5 business days, we will notify the users via in-site notification within 5 business days.

Email from us

Sometimes we’ll send you emails about your account, service changes or new policies. You can’t opt out of this type of “transactional” email (unless you delete your account). But, you can opt out of nonadministrative emails such as digests, newsletters, and activity notifications through your account’s “Settings” page.

Children

This website is not directed toward children under thirteen years old, and we do not knowingly collect or use information from children under the age of thirteen through this site without first obtaining parental permission.

If you are a resident of the European Economic Area (“EEA”), in order to provide our websites, products, and services to you, we may send and store your Personal Data outside of the EEA, including to the United States.
